1. Where did your name, the Wren and Rose, come from?
2. Why is the wren wearing a crown?
3. I saw a gemstone I like on one pair of earrings, but I'd like to see it with a different color of rose. Can you do that?
4. My ears aren't pierced. Can I get the earrings in clip style?
1. Where did your name, the Wren and Rose, come from?
The Rose part is for the roses I include in most of my jewelry. I love roses and have grown them all my life. The Wren just showed up one day when I was sketching possible logos. He is based on the Bewick's and Carolina wrens that have always lived around my house. Even my cell phone ring-tone is a wren's song -- to me, it's the sound of being outside in the garden.

2. Why is the wren wearing a crown?
In Ireland, so I'm told, the wren is considered king of the birds!

I can make roses in any color that you can dream up. I could even make roses to match a specific fabric swatch or color sample, if you like. Contact me to discuss pricing.
As for the gemstones, I'm limited by what's in stock; that's why I sell each pair of earrings individually. Sometimes I have more matching gemstones; sometimes I can find more, or some that are similar; but sometimes a replacement or a match is just not available. I'll do my best for you, though, so drop me a line.

4. My ears aren't pierced. Can I get the earrings in clip style?
Yes. My ears aren't pierced either! For this reason I make almost every pair of earrings in such a way that the ear wires can be exchanged for clip backs. Clip backs cost more, though, so I have to charge their cost (I don't charge for the labor).
Not all designs can be converted, but nearly all. Write me for details. sue@sues-news.com
